Girls Just Want to Have Fun

The other night the cable was acting up, so I put in one of my all time favorite movies, Girls Just Want to Have Fun. I was thrilled that Avery apparently likes this movie as much as I do, and was dancing to all of the music.

Rainboots and Comal County Fair

Avery got to test out her new rainboots from Aunt Monica in actual rain puddles!(We have been in desperate need of rain for about 2 years)

Last Friday was the Comal County Fair Parade, and then on Saturday we met up with my sister's family at the fair.

Avery loved the calf's wet nose!

I was making more taggie giraffes the other night and Avery was helping me with the ribbons.

Big Lou's Pizza

A few months ago, on Man vs. Food they featured a pizza resturant in San Antonio with a 42 inch pizza. Our friend Steve also saw the show and thought it would be a wonderful idea to get everyone together and try to conquer the pizza.

Mutton Bustin'

Last weekend was the beginning of the Comal County Fair. Jodee and holly came with Avery and me to the Mutton Bustin', which is where the litttle kids try to hang on, and ride a sheep. So Funny!! Many of them were actually able to hold on much longer than I thought they would.

Family Reunion

This weekend, Avery and I went to Victoria to go to a our family reunion. This girl loves live music!

She got pretty tired and had to take a quick nap on the table.

Monica brought some rain boots she got for Kensie and Avery. Avery was not interested them at all at first, which is strange since she loves shoes. Here she didn't want her picture taken at all, and just wanted the boots off!

Later, Connor helped her put on the boots, and all of a sudden she loved them!

Connor had to help her walk in them at first.

Avery is all ready for Wurstfest!

Crafty Weekend

This Labor Day weekend I din't work on one thing for work, I just wanted to do something crafty. So I ended up finishing the bows to go with Kensie's and Avery's cheerleading outfits, bought ribbon to make a new pacifier attacher, made taggie giraffes for K and A, and made Avery's Unicorn cheerleading outfit with a matching bow.

My mom and dad came up this weekend to go to the football game, and when I showed my mom the skirt I wanted to make for Avery, she whipped it right up! I did the letters on the shirt and even sewed around them on the machine by myself! When I took the picture, I tucked the sleeves under because when Avery wears it, I plan on tying the sleeves up with the same ribbon that the bow is made from. I'll post another picture later of her actually wearing the outfit!

10 Weeks

When I was 10 weeks pregnant, I went back to the doctor, and he did another sonogram. This one was really neat because this time we could actually see the shape of the baby, and not just a blurry blob! We could also see the heartbeat, and the good news is that this baby loves to dance as much as it's big sister. You would have thought there was some music playing inside me for how much it was dancing around. I'm surprised that the picture didn't turn out as one big blur!

Pictures of Miss A

Here are few funny pictures of Miss Avery!

My little organizer! She spent many minutes lining up all of my nail polish.

Avery decided it was nap time all on her own!

I had the ironing board out to iron an applique to a shirt, and Avery decided that it was her new favorite place to sit. She would go get a toy and then bring it right back to the board. I think this is first time she has actually seen the ironing board since I pretty much refuse to iron anything, and won't buy clothes if they have to be ironed!

Like mother, like daughter!

Tx State Football

Last night, Avery and I went to the first Tx State football game of the season with my mom, dad, sister, her husband, and my niece and nephew. Avery and Kensie finally got to wear their new cheerleading outfits that they've had for a year, and looked so adorable! Tx State beat Angelo State 48-28! It was a pretty fun game, and gave the kids a lot to cheer for.
