Christmas Break

After we saw the Christmas shaker that Kensie made at her school, we had to make Avery one. Avery got so excited when she saw me taking the label off the Coke bottle. It always amazes me how much she remembers. Even though it had been a couple of days since she saw Kensie's shaker, she still knew what we were going to do.
We filled our shaker with rice, red sequins, ribbon, glitter, and jingle bells.

Not feeling too well, but still shaking it!

This is how we have been spending our Christmas break.
I took Avery to the doctor on Monday because she had been coughing, had a yucky nose, and a fever. We found out she has RSV. Along with all the medicine she has to take, she also has to do breathing treatments 3 times a day. She is such a big girl. She doesn't fight it anymore, and just lays there while I hold the mask over her nose. Today we went back to the doctor because her fever hasn't gone away, and found out not only does she have RSV, she also has Strep and the flu. So now we have a new antibiotic and have added Tamiflu to the list of medications.

My Aunt took this family picture Thanksgiving Day. I think it turned out so neat! Check out her website at http://www.karenleaphotography.com/
