The New Bed

Last weekend we took out Avery's crib to put in a twin bed. We decided to just put the mattress on the floor for right now so she could get used to it. As you can tell, she loves it and thinks she is such a big girl!

She really wanted to play on her bed and not finish changing clothes.

I finally finished Avery's color tablets that I started quite a few months ago!

Our Weekend in San Antonio

My parents came to San Antonio for New Year's Eve, so Avery and I went and stayed a night with them. Monica and her family also got a room at the same hotel, so we all had a lot of fun hanging out. Avery, Connor, and Kensie are so funny when they get together. Avery and Kensie are so silly and sweet with each other, and they think everything Connor does is hilarious!

That night we walked across the street to The Market and ate at Mi Tierra. The girls loved the Mariachi players when they were playing at another table...

The next day we all went to the Witte Museum, Avery didn't really want to take a picture on the elephant.

Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas!

This was Avery's second Christmas, and it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped since she was sick, but we still had fun. Since she wasn't feeling very well, it took a long time to open her presents, but we weren't in a hurry so we took it nice and slow.
